Booty Barre

The Booty Barre method is the perfect combination of strength and flexibility with added cardio to burn fat fast. It tones, defines and chisels the whole body.

Booty Barre is a total body workout focused around the abdominals, it's a balanced workout, hitting every part of the body with a strong emphasis on the gluteus and hamstrings.

It's not a dance routine but a series of exercises that flow together seamlessly and in a controlled way which keeps your heart rate elevated.

What can I expect from class?

We don’t expect that you’re a teeny tiny ballerina. Neither are we! We strive to make Kates’s Powerhouse a place where everyone will feel comfortable. Booty Barre is a low-impact workout and can be done by men and women of all shapes, sizes, and ages. As long as you can hold on to the ballet barre, you can do Booty Barre! No dancing experience is required. While the class is high intensity, it is very low impact, meaning you’ll get a great workout without putting excessive stress on your joints. If running or jumping has ever caused pain or stress to your joints, Booty Barre may be just what you're looking for -- one of the fastest, most effective ways to change the shape of your body.

Class format/duration:

For 60 minutes, your personal life will melt away as you plunge into this fun workout set to motivating music. Your teacher will set up the exercises and then circulate the room, correcting form to help you get the most out of your time.

Is this class for me?

Of course it is! We have students from all walks of life and physical fitness doing this program. Whether you’re a baby boomer or more mature, we adjust the class to accommodate everyone.

What you'll need:

We’ll have all the equipment you’ll need there at the studio, so just bring a bottle of water and a positive attitude!
